Kirsten Anderson was born and raised in North Carolina before moving to Utah to complete her BFA in painting and printmaking at Southern Utah University in 2016. She has since participated in various residencies around the world allowing her to learn from fellow artists in places such as France, Spain and Austria. Her continuously evolving style explores different mediums and techniques to further her practice. While color, spirituality, and emotion continue to be underlying themes in Anderson’s work, she strives to let them grow and evolve in tandem with her own understanding and connection to them.
